Jesus ! Who Is He ? Mark 8:27-29 (cev) " Jesus and his disciples went to the villages near the town of Caesarea Philippi. As they were walking along, he asked them, " What do people say about me?". 28) The disciples answered," Some say you are John the Baptist or maybe Elijah. Others say you are one of the prophets". 29) Then Jesus asked them, But who do you say that I am?" " You are the Messiah, Peter replied." Jesus came to earth to do serval things. One of them was to show us what God the Father was like. In these verses we see that Jesus is asking his disciples " WHO DO YOU SAY I AM" Peter quickly respones " You are the Messiah", which means the ANNIONTED ONE. The one called by God. The one who came to set us free from sin. To set us free from having to be COOL. Gods chosen one. The people of his day for the most part didn't recogize him. It was the Religiou leaders who should have known who he was that handed him over to be hung on the cross. How about you? Do you really know who he is? Do you really want to know? Well over the next few weeks I will show you without a duobt that Jesus is GOD.
