In Answer To Rukshan
Hi
My name is Paul and I serve as webservant for a
Christian
outreach ministry that is hosted by Youth of
America. Rock
passed your message along to me and
several others who will
soon be in contact with you.
Rukshan, can you picture this? Somewhere there is a
person
or group of people that God has prepared you to
minister to
because of your circumstances. Imagine it.
Only a person
such as yourself may be able to help
those who are the
lonely, the shy, those who feel ugly
and undesirable.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands of people
feel the same way.
Perhaps your "problem" is God's way
of preparing you to
minister to some of these people.
There's more! Could it be that somewhere, a girl of
about
your age has lived in a similar situation?
Perhaps she has
never come into contact with a single
boy. Perhaps no other
boy in the world could understand
her as well as you could.
And the REASON you could
understand her so well is the very
problem you have
shared with us!!
Don't give up! God is NEVER too late!
You are a child of
God, so believe that He has your
best interest at heart. He
will bring the people into
your life that He knows you can
help BECAUSE of your
situation.
God answers prayer! But sometimes He
says "not yet"!
Remember, that the ideal person or
people that He wants to
bring into your life have to be
willing to do what He wants
them to do also. Just as
you must be willing to wait for
Him to bring the right
person into your life, SHE must be
willing to wait
until God leads you together. And how
marvelous it will
be for both of you!
You have a marvelous GIFT from God!
Have you not noticed
it!? You can write beautifully and
descriptively! How can
you say you have no talents or
gifts?! God has chosen YOU
for the situation you are in
AND for the future He has
planned for you. You said
yourself that you may be the only
16 year old boy in
your position. How can you feel inferior
when God has
chosen YOU alone to have this experience!?
I urge you
to deal with the anger in your life, and give it
over
to God! Don't hate others, or dwell only on yourself,
but find ways you can be of service to your family,
friends
and brothers in the Lord. Pray about your
feelings. Tell
God all about it! Express your
frustrations to Him. He
cares about YOU! Did you get
that? The God of all creation,
the designer of the
Universe, the Almighty God cares about
YOU, Rukshan! He
has proven it by TRUSTING you with the
very situation
you have shared in your e-mail! He didn't
trust your
friends with this situation. He didn't trust
your Youth
Minister with this situation. He TRUSTS YOU with
it!!
Now go on. Grab your Bible and read a little. Pray
a
little, and be ready my young friend. God has a very
special assignment for you! And He's been preparing you
for
it since you were 9 years old!!!!
