Online Options

After connecting to the host PC, there are several online options available that help you navigate and control the session on the host PC. Click the options icon in the online toolbar.

ColorScale™

 

 

How to...

This option specifies the number of colors the host uses when translating bitmaps. Choose two or four colors to optimize the screen display on the remote during the session.

  To use this option effectively, the color palette on the host PC must be set to 256 colors or greater.

Reduce Host Desktop Area

How to...

Causes the host to reduce screen resolution to match the resolution used by the remote PC.

ezSCROLL Hot Key™

How to...

Defines a keystroke combination to use for navigating the remote viewing area using ezSCROLL.

Host Mouse Tracking

How to...

Check to view the area of the host's screen in use by the host user.

Host Active window Tracking

How to...

Automatically moves the remote's view to any currently active window on the host. For example, during a session between computers using different screen resolutions, an error message on the host may appear out of the remote's viewing area.

Host Keyboard Locked

How to...

Disables the host PC's keyboard and mouse to prevent interruptions. The host user can only observe the remote control session.

Host Screen Blanked

How to...

Blanks the host screen during the session to protect your privacy. Use this option when the host PC is unattended and is running confidential applications.
